Did some character designing this weekend. This is a minor character in my comic, the Commander's cat named Fenny.

My first published comic work will appear in the next issue of Scoot Magazine. It looks like this will be a regular gig for me, but the magazine comes out every two months. It's a road trip story set in the 80s about two mod teens who head to a scooter rally on their beat up old Vespa. The writers are Eric "Otis" Singletary and Nate Murphy. They also write a published comic, The Two Percent Solution.

I've been working on my own comic project lately, which will probably end up published on the web. I've gotten some very positive feedback from the friends and family who have seen it. But I'm holding off on publishing anything until I feel I have enough of the story finished to leave a good impression. So as a compromise I decided to drop the first panel on my website (without the narration). I'm only drawing the second page but hopefully I can work out my process for this comic and speed it up.  Click the image for the full size version.
